Here are some helpful tips for preparing:
One trick I find with greens is to always massage your greens with a splash or capful of apple cider vinegar (with the mother). This helps your greens become moist and soft.
Health tip: When you prepare your greens in this way you are helping your body absorb the nutrients in the food.
Also if you’re not using a dressing then drizzle some raw olive oil on it. Maybe squeeze a slice of lemon for a little brightening.
Now your base is ready. Next, get creative and add your toppings.
This is optional but I find it useful on certain creations when I don’t add dressing. This becomes my dressing. I love to add some nuts and cranberries.

Replacements & Substitutions:
Sheet Pan Dishes: You can use any combination of your favorite ingredients for a sheet pan meal. The best thing about sheet pans is their simplicity and versatility, allowing you to mix and match different combinations to create wonderful flavors.
Greens: Feel free to substitute your greens with a spinach mix, romaine lettuce, or arugula.
Olive Oil: While olive oil offers many health benefits when consumed raw, you can replace it with any oil of your choice, such as avocado oil, flaxseed oil, or hemp oil.
Lemon: Lemon juice enhances the flavors in this dish, but you can also swap it for lime juice or another citrus like orange for a nice twist.
Apple cider vinegar is a great option, but if you’re not a fan, you can use red vinegar or balsamic vinegar instead.
Transform Your Sheet Pan Salad into a Meal:
Protein: This dish is incredibly versatile and can be paired with a variety of proteins including chicken, beef crumbles or patties, steak, tofu, veggie burgers, bacon, and eggs.
Grains: To make your meal heartier and more filling, consider adding grains such as rice or quinoa.
Additional Toppings: The options for toppings are virtually limitless, so feel free to experiment! You can create savory or sweet flavors or even a combination of sweet and spicy. Easy topping options include tomatoes, green onions, cilantro, cheese, beans, nuts, and seeds.
Sauces: If you enjoy a good sauce, adding one can be a wonderful way to complete your meal.
Fruit: Don’t forget about adding fruit! Including a bowl of fruit on the side can help satisfy cravings later in the day, especially if you haven’t eaten much throughout the day.
