Self-love is allowing yourself to be imperfect but at the same time understanding your uniqueness and your value knowing there is only one you and you are one of a kind.
Permit yourself to be imperfect. Forgive yourself. You set the tone.
You Set The Tone
One of the most needed changes when we change our lifestyle is our mindset. The truth is, if I am going to help you create a healthier lifestyle, know that what goes on inside of you—your mind and heart—does set the tone for everything else.
It’s like a ripple effect you can’t care for one area and not another. Doing this will leave you unbalanced and running in circles.
I want to encourage you, as you have made it this far in your journey, not to skip this step. You may find something here that you didn’t know you needed. During this time, choose to be honest with yourself while giving yourself the time and space that you may need for your inner healing.
Many of us are burnt out and it’s time to start replenishing your reserve by giving yourself more than just enough. Learn to create streams that feed you no matter what season you may be in.
You Decide. You Set the tone.
Love yourself
Your Mindset
Have You Considered Your Thought Life?
Think about what you’re thinking. Naturally, our minds want to focus on the negative so when it comes to thinking positive we have to be intentional.
When a negative thought comes in it’s important in these moments to address them right then and there. Doing so we immediately remove the potential harm that can come with such thoughts especially when they have had time to sit.
Take control over your thoughts even if it’s a random thought you can decide if it stays.
Choosing to be more mindful in your thinking is a crucial component when it comes to our inner healing because what you think will affect what you say to yourself and even more what you believe.
So to help you get started in the right direction I have created some simple mindset tools along with wellness practices that can help you create more positive thinking and promote your inner healing.
Start replenishing your reserve and come to know what these streams look like for you.
Activate your awareness. Create Positive thinking.
Your Self-talk
What are you saying to yourself?
Self-talk is the way you talk to yourself it’s your inner voice. How you speak to yourself matters because what you say to yourself is what you believe.
Ultimately what you believe about yourself is then expressed in your actions and quickly become your habits. These habits make up your environment and the place you live with yourself.
So when you start to speak more positively about yourself there is a shift that happens a positive shift bringing you entirely in the opposite direction from where you were.
Start changing how you speak to yourself choose to love yourself and give yourself grace. Begin to set the standard for how others should treat you by showing how you treat yourself.
Change your words and you can change your world.
Self Care
How do you care for yourself?
Self-care is the things you do to take care of yourself. This can be physically, mentally and emotionally. Now self-care looks different to each of us but here is where you take some time and explore what this looks like for you.
I know for many we tend to have others who depend on us and usually, this area is neglected. But I want to remind you you can’t care for others properly if you don’t care for yourself first.
So make yourself important, give yourself a timeslot, or put me time on your schedule. If you’re putting in the work it’s okay to reward yourself.
Doing this will keep your heart and mind grounded in the right place. Fall in love with you and take care of your inner health and well-being.
It’s not selfish to show yourself love and care.
Mindset Tools
These mindset tools are ones I still use today. They are simple but so effective. I want to encourage you to give it a try. Embrace the weirdness, be intentional, and keep practicing because soon enough it will be something you naturally do.
Positive Flips
When a thought comes to mind or a spoken word decide, flip it, and make it known.
Decide– to agree or disagree with it
Flip it – create a positive flip: say the opposite of what is being said. Turn it into something positive.
Make It Known – Speak it out loud verbally from your heart and believe it.
Positive Affirmations
Write down your positive flips and turn them into daily positive affirmations. Then place these around your spaces so you can be reminded of these new truths each day.
You matter. Love yourself.
